Eragon Cake

When my nephew said he loved Dragons and his favorite book was Eragon, I knew I was going to be in for a challenge! I copied the basic idea of the book cover, only instead of a two dimensional picture of the Dragon, I decided it would be much more exciting if he was bursting right through the book! I was happy with the result and my nephew's excitement over this cake will warm my heart forever!! Devils Food cake with Cookies n Cream filling.

Thought I'd try something completely different for this one. I did a Devils Food cake with Gan ache filling. I wrapped the cake with fudge pirouette cookies which gave it a warm, rustic feeling. Each layer was topped with some beautiful fall flowers which matched the flowers at the housewarming party.
