I did this one for a friend's 40th birthday. She has a great love for vintage clothes and shoes and I thought a hat box would be a perfect fit. Yellow cake with a hint of citrus combined with a fudge/caramel filling. The cake was 4 layers not including the top/lid which was a pound cake. The cake did not photograph as beautifully as it looked in person. It was a hit!
